Mill Hill ward

Like many areas of Deal, the people of Mill Hill are facing the cost of living crisis and so need Labour councillors and a Labour District council more than ever. More housing support, access to health care and decent, affordable transport in and around Dover are what’s needed. Vote Labour for a better, fairer District.

Helen Williams

Current Labour Councillor

As current Mill Hill Councillor, Helen initiated new playground locally, new waste management schemes
in local council flats, much casework in housing applications, repairs, and benefits. Helen opposes new
private house building locally due to lack of supporting infrastructure- roads, GPs and schools, but
support council housing schemes especially for disabled.

Jeff Loffman

Retired

Jeff is a retired whose children work in education, the police and business and have lived in the area for many years. He has led campaigns, worked on holiday projects, sports coaching and worked in and around local government for many years including being a Parish Councillor, chairing a Neighbourhood Development Plan now in operation and, when he stood last, campaigned  to improve the Cowdray Square playground. Housing, energy (& saving on the bills) the local economy, the high street and working with residents and others to improve day-to-day living in Mill Hill is what Jeff is about, and what he will work hard for if elected.

With cuts from central government, crisis in care & reducing our quality of life and facilitie Its time to make a stand, and vote Labour in Mill Hill.
